What was I doing collaborating in such a dangerous game? It was dangerous, no matter what assurances Sarah had found in her literature. That was why I shouldn't have been collaborating. The reason I was that since I had first stumbled wide-eyed into it, I had come to find the thought of Sarah roped to her cross unbearably exciting. Simply that.
